Schloß Ringberg near Tegensee

Schloß Ringberg is nestled above the Tegensee in the Bavarian Alps, about an hour outside of Munich. The castle was built by Duke Luitpold and designed by Friedrich Attenhuber, on a site chosen 100 years ago. Upon his passing, Duke Luitpold donated the castle to the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft. The castle provides meals and lodging for about 40 participants. 20 additional participants can return after dinner to hotels in the nearby town of Kreuth.
